The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has issued a final call to amateur and professional photographers across the Philippines to submit their entries for the PAGCOR Photography Contest 2026. According to the state gaming regulator, the deadline for all submissions is June 30, 2026.
Theme and Eligibility
This year’s competition centers on the theme “Kids@Play” and is open to Filipino photography enthusiasts aged 16 and above. According to PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco, the theme is designed to highlight the spirit of childhood by showcasing the joy, creativity, and life lessons that children experience through play.
Mr. Tengco explained that play is essential for a child’s physical, social, and emotional development. “Beyond providing enjoyment, play helps children develop important values such as discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship, and resilience,” Mr. Tengco stated, adding that these qualities help shape character and build a foundation for their future aspirations.
